February 11th, 2025, Sulaimani: Network 19 announces the charges against citizen (Adam Osman), citizens publish such videos on social networks daily, Network 19 calls on the judiciary and the Ministry of Interior of the Kurdistan Regional Government to release and remove the charges.
Ali Hama Salih, a member of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) parliament, said that he published several videos in front of the Council of Ministers and the UN headquarters yesterday, "A friend of mine named Adam Osman, who was with me and drove me, was summoned to the Erbil asaiysh and then his cell phone went off, "I took the videos myself, not Adam. This is not a crime,” he said.
The Erbil Police Directorate released a video called: Confession of (Adam Osman Sulaiman) who on Sunday 9-2-2025 drove (Ali Hama saleh) Kurdistan Parliament MP while the MP was busy taking pictures and videos of several places, in order to mislead and encourage people to disrupt the security of the Kurdistan Region.
Network 19 announces:
1- The charge on which citizen (Adam Osman) was arrested, Citizens publish such videos on social networks daily and cannot be regarded as a crime.
2- MP Ali Hama Saleh said that he took the videos himself and then posted them on Facebook. The publication of such videos is not a crime for Adam Osman or MP Ali Hama Saleh.
3. Calls on the judiciary and the Ministry of Interior of the Kurdistan Regional Government to release Adam Osman and drop the charges against him.
