Erbil the capital

I participated in the French National Day on behalf of the Metro Center.

Congratulations to the French people and their consulate in Erbil.

The Kurdish people will not forget that in April 1991, five days after the fleeing of the Kurdish people, UN Security Council Resolution 688 on the protection of civilians (no-fly zone) was adopted on the proposal of the French representative.

We thank the French Consulate for inviting us and the arrangement of this beautiful ceremony.
