High Council of Iraqi Youth supervised by prime Minister Mohammed Shia Sudani held a symposium on World Democracy Day in collaboration with Qaywan International University.

On September 15th, 2024, the Iraqi High Youth Council held a symposium on World Democracy Day. Representing Metro Center, Sewa Sirwan and Shaee Aso attended the symposium.

Two panels were organized during the symposium, the first titled (Youth, Democracy, and Building the Future with Youth Participation and Leadership). The second panel was titled (Promoting Women's Capabilities as a Core Principle for Strengthening Democracy).

Both panels were presented by various community figures with different backgrounds and experiences from civil society organizations, academic centers and leadership.

Finally, the discussion was enriched by different questions and comments from the participants.
