On Friday, April 4th, 2025, a representative of Metro Center participated in a conference organized by (17 Shubat) Organization on the situation of freedom of expression and obstacles facing the media in the Kurdistan Region for lawyer Bashdar Hassan.

In the conference, which was conducted by (Chia Asad) representative of the Metro Center, several legal topics were presented, which were related to freedom of expression in the light of the Iraqi law and constitution and new international human rights documents.

The report on the situation of press freedom for 2024 prepared by the Metro Center was presented to the participants.
