On Thursday, April 3rd, 2025, Hogar Cheto, President of Kurdistan National Organization PA0, Hoshyar Malo, President of Kurdistan Human Rights Watch KOHRW, Rebin Rasul, President of KWR Research Organization visited Metro Center and expressed their support for the working principles of Metro Center.

The issue of human rights monitoring, including freedom of expression and the press, and the protection and defense of human rights was the topic of discussion of all four organizations.

The organizer of Metro thanked the presidents and members of all three organizations for their support since the establishment of the center. Metro has benefited from their rich experience in the field of organizational work.

In the meeting, all four organizations agreed to expand the process of monitoring human rights, including freedom of expression and the press, encouraging the broad participation of the Kurdistan Regional Government in this process.

The four organizations stressed that they would continue to uphold the principles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and other international instruments on rights and freedoms, exchange information on the situation of freedom of the press and expression and work together to put pressure on decision-making bodies.
