Diyaree Mohammed, director of Metro Center, said that 29 violations were committed against 13 journalists and media institutions in Arbat town, including five cases of arrest of journalists There were 11 cases of obstruction of coverage, eight cases of confiscation and breaking of journalists' belongings and five cases of beatings and insults.

"We as Metro Center condemn such behavior by the security forces against journalists and media outlets, and we believe that this is completely contrary to the applicable laws in the Kurdistan Region." Diyaree Mohammed said.
